Ana is one of the women whose names have had a strong presence in society as her great-grandfather was the founder of Itau, the largest bank in Brazil. When they merged with Unibanco, they became Itau-Unibanco, which is currently the largest non-state bank in Latin America. Ana is currently the youngest female in Brazil and she hails from quite a humble family. Aside from the bank founded by her great-grandfather, the senior also founded Duratex, a brand that focuses on manufacturing wood paneling and bathroom fixtures.
