Roger Staubach has had a very successful journey on the field and even off the field, it has been a strong one with lots to be thankful for. While playing football in 1963 for the U.S. Naval Academy, Staubach earned the Heisman Trophy. In addition, Staubach served in the Navy as well as did a tour in Vietnam during his service years.In 1969, he joined the Cowboys and led the Super Bowl team five times, and won Super Bowl VI and Super Bowl XII. Before retiring in 1979, Roger played 11 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. Interestingly, Staubach has many business ventures, which has helped him garner a net worth averaging $600 million.
