Serra Sabanci – $1.3 Billion
Serra has a lot of thanks for giving her family her foundational wealth as she has a share in her family’s business and also being a board member. Sabanci Holdings is Turkey’s largest financial and industrial conglomerate. However, her father, Özdemir, was assassinated in 1996. Even though she is not close to the top of the list, she is one of the richest persons in Turkey, a great indication of the financial status between men and women in the country. She attended Istanbul Bilgi University and the University of Portsmouth.
