The company is a food processing and distribution company with many other companies being owned by the family all across Europe. Alannah was formerly the creative director for one of the family businesses, Selfridges, before she moved up the ladder to become the deputy chairman. The company is a popular high-end department store chain that has multiple locations across the United Kingdom.
